Hello,
Our CRM 2011 updated to Rollup 12 a couple of weeks ago (Windows 2008 R2), everything looked fine, we even noticed a faster access to all the windows, alas, today, my colleagues noticed that they could no longer assign anything, be it leads, accounts etc !
Even I, as the CRM administrator, can't do it either !
I've taken a look at the event manager, be it on the CRM server and our SQL Server (Windows 2008 R2), but apart some 17204 events :

...no critical error !
I didn't find anything more that could explain such a bug !
The SQL Server event manager is so clean that I didn't find anything !
I have taken a look at the Asynchronous services, both of them are started, I restarted them but to no avail, and I eventually restarted the server as there were a few .Net framework updates still not yet installed, but this didn't solve the issue either! :(
Like the other users, I noticed that assigning the lead (or anything else !), you can notice that the windows "blinks" as if the system was trying to do its job, but even recording, closing the window, restarting it, the owner definitely remains the previous one !
I couldn't find any similar bug on Internet but as I'm not a guru any help or clue would be much appreciated !
Regards,
Philippe.
