Can't change business management append and append to user in security role - ErrorCode>-2147220989

Hi,

CRM has been upgraded from CRM 4 to CRM 2011.  After upgrading I can't change setup of security role of user to append and append to as mentioned below screen-shots.  It is giving below error.  But when I copy this role to another rolem I can change this setup.

Please provide me solution.
