Client is Windows 7 Pro and IE 9.
Every so often Internet Explorer is unable to display any pages. The initial symptom is that you try an operation in the CRM and it hangs. If you then kill the session and restart you get that generic “Internet Explorer cannot display the web page” error.
Sometimes this can be fixed by doing a hard refresh Ctrl+F5.
Sometimes this doesn’t work but if you wait a for a couple of minutes it comes back.
Worst case scenario is that logging off and on fixes it. E.g., I log off my local admin connection and log on as a regular user. That connects fine. I log back in as my admin connection and it again works.
When it gets into the IE error state I’ve verified that I can still connect to the CRM programmatically, e.g., using LINQPad. So it seems to be IE-related.
In the meantime, whenever I am trying to create something in the CRM I just save every few seconds!
