Using SOAP & REST endpoints

HI

Can some one provide me a simple example to Call SOAP(Organizationservice) and REST(ODataservice) in Javascript.

Please, i am not looking for theory concepts, but i need the code from step by step(as i am new to these concepts i didnt understand when i looked at someother blogs).

Example: Which js files have to add to webresources for SOAP, which js files for REST. and why those files.

I need a simple,small sample example code for create/update/retrieve... a record.(Pls don't suggest sdk examples)

Please provide me the links which any new CRM 2011 devloper can understand for coding, not for experts for in crm.
